Cilla Boreham

Non-Executive Director of Yarra Funds and Impact Investment Group.

Cilla is an experienced legal, risk and compliance professional, having worked initially in a major legal practice, and subsequently for over 15 years in in-house legal, compliance and risk related roles with Goldman Sachs JB Were and then JB Were (after its acquisition by National Australia Bank Limited in 2009).

In addition to managing the legal and risk functions at JB Were, Cilla was a member of the JB Were Executive Team which was responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm.

She has been actively involved in most of the significant regulatory changes in the financial services industry over the last 15 years, as well as playing critical roles in relation to several key internal strategic initiatives.

Cilla is the Deputy Chair of the ASIC Markets Disciplinary Panel which ensures disciplinary action is delivered against participant and market operators for alleged breaches of the market integrity rule.
