Luke Sayers

Founder and Executive Chairman of the Sayers Group

Prior to starting Sayers Group in July 2020, Luke was the Chief Executive Officer of PwC Australia and Vice-Chairman of PwC Asia Pacific for two terms. In this role, Luke led a team of >700 partners and >8000 staff, helping Australian and international organisations solve their biggest problems.

During this time, Luke grew PwC from $1.4bn to $2.6bn, led several critical acquisition in Australia, including Booz&Co and multiple digital businesses. Luke also led the merging of nine consulting businesses across Southeast Asia, of which he was the inaugural Chairman. Luke was a also member of PwC’s Global Strategy Council, shaping the strategic priorities of the PwC network of firms which operates in 150 countries.

At the conclusion of his second term, PwC was the leading professional services firm in Australia, based on revenue, profit, brand, client feedback, and employee engagement.

In 2019 Luke was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his significant service to business, to people with a disability, and the community.
