Rosie Bennett

Rosie is an experienced renewable energy professional, currently Director, Fund and Asset Management.

Rosie has over 20 years’ experience managing a range of environmental infrastructure and assets across both the public and private sectors. She was previously a Board Director of Chepstowe Wind Farm, General Manager of a forestry company managing 4,700 ha of plantations, was a Fund Manager of an $125m agribusiness fund, and was the Team Leader, Waterways and Land Delivery for the South East Region at Melbourne Water.

As Director of the renewable energy portfolio, Rosie is responsible for the operating and financial performance of two Solar Fund’s totalling $180m. In this role Rosie handles a broad range of contractual and financial matters relating to the solar assets, is responsible for negotiating and managing the assets Power Purchase Agreement’s, ensures ongoing regulatory compliance, leads the funds risk management and reports the assets’ financial and operational performance to the Solar Funds’ board.

Rosie holds a Bachelor of Forest Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA, she has also undertaken the Foundations of Directorship with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
