Scott Milligan

Associate Director with broad experience working with listed companies, private equity funds, and not-for-profits.

Before Sentient, Scott was a co-founder with Energise Partners and an associate director with EY-Parthenon, where he helped to establish Australian practices serving clients in private equity, power and utilities, and healthcare.

In these roles he supported transactions and led commercial due diligence for PE and corporate clients across Asia-Pacific in sectors such as clean energy and fuels, health technology businesses, and consumer products.

As a consultant, Scott has helped power generators to navigate decarbonisation and stranded assets, led market entry for global private health funds, and supported the internal restructure of an iconic Australian brewery.

Separately, for eight years Scott has advised teams that shape strategy for Australian non-profit organisations. These projects aim to uplift capability, financial performance, and sustainability in the sector.

Scott graduated from Monash University with majors in Finance, Accounting, and Economics, and a minor in Econometrics. He is a CFA Charterholder.
