Lane Crockett has resigned from his role as Sentient Impact Group’s Executive Director, Clean Energy Solutions and as Fund Manager of the Solar Income Fund (SIF) and Solar Asset Fund (SAF). Lane will finish up with Sentient in January 2023.
Lane joined the Impact Investment Group (IIG) in late 2015 to set up the renewables arm of the business, successfully launching the two solar funds in 2016 and 2018 which have ultimately become the foundation funds for Sentient Impact Group. During his time at IIG and Sentient, Lane has been a strong champion of impact investing. He is a highly regarded leader in the clean energy and investment industries and has made significant contributions to IIG, Sentient and the impact investing sector more broadly. We thank him for his passion, dedication and contribution to the success of SIF and SAF and wish him well in his new endeavours.

Due to the strength and depth of our team, we are well-placed to build on the significant contributions Lane has made. A plan has been developed to ensure continuity and a smooth transition. Sentient will now go to market for additional expertise in the clean energy space.
